Ideas? help improve bose sound system
Installed a great 10" Audiobahn subwoofer with built in amp - all self contained in a bazooka type enclosure - 3 quick disconnects and remove 2 quick release straps and I have the full usage of my trunk space again. Black leather exterior with chrome end cap - fits perfectly sideways back up against the back of the rear seats and pass-thru. 8/27/04 Circuit City - Sale price $225 plus install $45 with taxes about $295 in San Francisco Bay Area - install time 1.5 - 2 Hours. Gave it the much needed Bass sound that was rather weak and muddled.
I wanted to upgrade the amp to drive the 9 speaker system better but was told that BOSE audio systems only work with their own components - in other words you can't mix audio components from different manufacturers with BOSE.
My question is how can i get the sharper, cleaner, potent crispness of sound without changing out BOSE speakers and amp?
Would BOSE offer an upgraded more powerful amp for same setup?
What are my options?
Please help improve my deprived hearing
