To remove them you must have a stead hand, and lots of patience, and the skill to solder properly. For someone not familiar with how to disassemble the guage cluster, it will take about an hour, and the trickiest part is removing the needles, if you dont take your time, you can damage the motors and or the needles themselves.
I hope this is enough info for you.

yes it those, you rock thanksit id not want it to remove it twice
I am not "holding all the info". If you want the basics, here ya go. The LED's used in the guage cluster are PLCC type LED's. These are a surface mount LED, and do not have the traditional leads and casing that most people are familiar with. They are extremely small. This pic should give you an idea.

If you havent done it, you dont know how dificult it is. It usually causes the project to take at least twice as long if you are doing it alone, and usually takes at least twice as long as it did to do the project to write up a good DIY.

you are right, there is white for daytime (when the headlights are off, or when the dimmer switch is turned all the way up) or red, for when the headlights are on. the only blue stock, is 3 (or 4 i cant remember) leds above the guages, which are really only visible when you open the doors, thats why i wired those up to my 791xv alarm
