Increse Exhaust Volume ???
Having read racing beats article on supposed hp gains in aftermarket exhaust systems which seem to only give you a moderate power gain and only result in louder exhaust .
I am wondering if a speaker / amplifier attached to the stock standard exhaust system would yield similar loader exhaust noise without the crazy aftermarket exhausts prices??? which seem to yield very little extra power???
Could this be done ???
How???
At least if this could be done you would retain originall exhaust noise but it would be louder and a lot cheaper to achieve.

You could always skip the pre-manufactured aftermarket exhaust systems which are completely overpriced and take your car down to a local muffler shop and save hundreds. I've done this with many cars and they've always had a great sound. Sound depends on how many chambers your muffler has. Less chambers = louder sound. You can usually get away with a nice looking and sounding exhaust system for under $300US.

Best, and cheapest way would be to run a mid-pipe with no resonator. This adds a good amount of sound to the exhaust. You could probably have one of these made at a good muffler shop for 200. Add a high-flow cat, and you would be ready for CZ stage 2!
