Interesting NAV Question

Say your car is stolen...

Can the GPS Navigation be reverse-tracked? Say like lo-jack...could it be used to find your vehicle?

No, it doesn't transmit anything, it just receives satellite signals.

You could build a carputer with wireless then setup a program try's to email you GPS coords everytime it finds a connection.

thanks it was mostly a FYI type of thing...I figured if it did then why bother upgrading my security system...which I am considering at some point...
