Interior LED's

i want to spice up my ride a bit by adding some interior LED's. the only problem is that i dont know much about it. such as what kinds will be bright enough, how to tap into 12v sources and things like that. if someone could help me out, i would appreciate it.

thanks.

i got red LEDs in my 8 and it is really easy to install it without the wire having to show. i bought the neons at circuit city for around $40. the brand is street glow. but i think it might be cheaper if you buy it off ebay or something. the way to take out the center console is to pop the clip out from that little hole behind the
e-brake. you would have to really try to reach in there. and after you take pop out one clip, just slowly pull the panel off (DONT YANK IT OUT CAUSE CLIP MIGHT BREAK). well remember to take the shift *** off before you do anything! haha well good luck!! and ill be happy to answer any questions

i'm not very sure about how to hook them up with just a 12v source. it's a lot easier IMO if you have a system in your car. i hooked up a few to my amp when i had my probe and mounted them under the dash so when the bass hit, they would flicker. looked pretty good to me and the ladies liked it for some odd reason. i'm sure if you do a search someone has done it and posted how they did it.

just change the maplight, dome, and courtesy lights to LEDs. small things are fine.
