Interior light replacement

Interior light replacement
I'm replacing all my interior lights with LED's and the I'm having a problem removing the lights on the roof. They are on the compartment that has the sunglasses holder, i think they might be called map lights but i'm not sure. My question is how do i remove that whole piece so i can replace those 2 lights. I tried to pry it off with a flathead but i could only get the front portion out and i didn't want to force anything too much. I don't want to break anything so does anyone know how to safely remove that section? Do I just keep prying that piece off is that the only way? Are there clips or anythnig holding it on?
Thanks, Ryan

Bolts......
I think there are a couple of bolts inside at the front, (10mm) open the glasses door and you should see 'em.
Then there are two spring clips, on each side where the swithes are. You need a flathead to bend them in to the holder, as you pull down.
Good luck!

I have removed the headlights, it is actually quite easy if you have the time. You do have to remove the front bumper which is amazingly easy...there are DIY's on here just search. Then there are 5 or 6 screws around the headlight assembly that you need to unscrew and the headlight pops right out! Took me about 30 minutes to take the bumper off and put it back on! If you have any questions just PM me! good luck

normally I give up this information...but there is like 20 posts on both subjects...
also DO NOT REMOVE the headliner lights the way the manual says...you'll damage the piece AND the headliner
there is a much safer...easier alternative
search please
