interior neon installation

Hi guys,
I installed recently neon in my rx8 but now I want to plug in our middle 12v plug of the console, and now, my problem is that I don't know how to remove the console where the 12v plug is because I want to hide those wires.

If someone have some instruction for how to remove it, i'll apreciate

Here's some pictures of the result

Thank you

I'm positive I can help you, But I'm not sure I know what you want. Are you talking about the wires by the driver's seat in the second picture? are those even wires? a Daytime picture would help

yaaaa okay. thats easy.

Well if you have already tapped into that cig power, then you've done the hard part. There are a few DIY's on here that show how to take the console out. I'll try to find one. Hold on.

Okay. here. This DIY will get you started

https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?t=55998.html

once you get the piece that holds the shift boot off it's easy. There are screws in the middle console, where you put stuff, like where you have it wired to under the felt bottom. Then there are more in the back center console under the felt thing. there are two more as well under the center pass through that goes to the trunk. you might even need to remove the ash tray with that cig lighter to get the whole console out. It is one big piece. I'm pretty sure you'll have enough room to just put the wires under the silver trim where they hang down now. If not. You could route them all the way from the back cig lighter, up the console to under the ash tray piece, and down to the driver's feet. But don't think you'll need to do that...

Sorry if my explanation is hard to understand. Just ask me if you don't get anything.

Oh well that was not to bad to do. The hard thing is to pull out the first part with the **** and after you have six screws and that's it.
