iPod Hook-ups for Dummies?

Hey guys,

I just bought a new RX-8 less than 2 weeks ago :-D
After being spoiled in my old car with an MP3 CD player, I'm trying to figure out the best way to avoid carrying around 300 CDs in th RX-8

I'm about to give in and buy an iPod (so I can use it at the gym and work too)
But how do I use it in the RX-8?

I have heard nothing but bad things about getting one of those radio transmitter things for the iPod to work on your stereo

So, I guess the question is: Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'd like to install something in the car for the iPod, but I'll admit that I've never done anything like that before....so I don't think I could handle something too complicated...
Not that I'm stupid or that I couldn't figure it out....but is there anything out there for dummies?

Thanks guys :-)

Dennison IceLink.

Everyone who has one on here seems to swear by them, especially as it allows the use of the steering wheel controls.

Yeah I would go with AuxMod. http://www.sylfex.com/products/AuxMod/ It is cheaper and works great. Pair it with a mount/holder from www.proclipusa.com and you have a winner.
