Kenwood 8" shallow mount sub for doors

Anyone have any thoughts on this. Other than you couldn't use them running off the bose amp due to the 4 ohm impedance, would something like this be worth the effort?

Let me know what you guys think.

Probably doesn't help that the auction is expired

I thought I linked it to the amazon listing. Hmmm I'll have to fix that.

I used 6.5" subwoofers in the doors of my first Miata. The bass was impressive, but the mid-range (300Hz to 2000Hz) sucked. The speakers were designed to reproduced bass frequencies, not mid-range so the sound quality was not good.

I have no experience with the subs you refer too, but I will not try to make subs reproduce mid-range frequencies again.

I assume he would want to use it in conjunction with his mid range speakers?

Good find! Any idea if this works well in an RX-8?

Should work. NC Miatas and RX-8 share a lot of stuff. If you have Bose just make sure you order the bose clearwater ones so you get the right impedance.

I didn't go this route cause I don't have Bose so I just upgraded my front speakers to MB quarts 6 1/2" components with an adapter plate.
