Let's see your Audio setup.
I've always been a connoisseur of car audio since I had my first car. Been through a hundred different setups, going everywhere from RF and Alpine to Memphis and JL. I've heard it all and even used to do sound competitions with my old Honda.
It's time to see what you guys have set up in the Rx8!
Lets format it like so:
subwoofer(s) name and size and if the box is sealed or ported
amp name and watt RMS @ "x" ohms
speaker name (if applicable)
headunit brand (if you have one)
Then any extra information or accessories you would like to include!
and a picture!
I'll start-
12" JL Audio W3v3 sealed box
JL Audio 250.1 amp @ 2ohms with Bass control ****
MB Quart speakers
stock headunit with AuxMod
This is my first JL setup and I can honestly say I don't think I will ever switch back to another brand. I've never had such a small amount of power produce this clean of a clean sound and deliver such a powerful punch . It's so clean and LOUD if I turn the bass up, I normally keep it at about 60%

I have a little project I have worked on the past year. Still a work in progress, but I thought you guys might want to take a look
Headunit is a Google Nexus 7 connected to a mosconi 6to8 DSP wich again is connected to:
2x Massive Audio N4 (2x2kw) powering 2x Digital Designs 9512 (12") in a 6,5 cu.feet ported box tuned to 27hz. Playing 20-50hz range
Sub box is 4 parts bolted together inside the car to provide the neccesary air volume.
2x Massive Audio N3 (2x1,4kw) powering 2x Clarion WF2510 (10") in 0.5 cu.feet ported box in doors tuned to 50 hz. Playing 50-100hz range
2x Rockford Fosgate rockford fosgate r400-4d (2x500w)powering 2x Digital Designs VO 6x9 in kickpanel. Playing 100-300hz range.
and powering 2xTang Band W4-1757SB 4" full range in dash. Playing 300-20khz

Wow that is extremely impressive! I would love to build **** like this when I had my old car. Such a rewarding project. I LOVE the Nexus in the dashboard. Do you mind me asking how you got that to work with the OE wiring harness?

I have the metra kit wich is providing power when ignition is turned on. This is connected to a relay wich is powering a usb 12v charger.
For audio i have connected a usb DAC wich has an tos optical output. Then a optical cable to the 6to8 dsp.
I also have a JoyCon Exr wich takes resisitive steering wheel control and convert the signal to a simulated programmable usb keyboard. This makes me able to control volum and previous/next track on the steering wheel.
Sorry for my grammar, english is not my native language.

Just finished mine a few weeks ago. Didn't go too crazy.
JL 10w1v3-2 sealed box soon to be a fiberglass box when I get a chance to make it.
Focal Access 165 6.5 components up front
Alpine Type R 6x9 in the rear deck
Pioneer AVH X5500BHS
Fosgate 600 5 channel @ 4 ohms
Sirius XM tuner
Steering wheel control adapter (can't remember which)
Already thinking of upgrading the amp (plan changed half through the build) and adding a second 10.
