Question LOC tap

I know there are multiple threads on this subject, and trust me I have searched throughout the forum. I am aware that many people who have installed a sub/amp, with the bose system, have used different LOC's. My question is does it make a BIG difference to tap the output lines from the bose amp, and will the sound quality be noticeably worse?? Also on the LOC it says connect wires to the left and right speakers (+ and -) as well. But I am unable to tell which output lines from the bose amp are the positive and negative ones going to the rear speakers? Does anyone know? Thanks

Greg

When I had mine setup this way I tapped the lines at the plug behind the Bose HU. If you search on the forum there is are several threads with links to wiring diagrams for the plug. I used an Audiocontrol LC6 line converter and it worked great with the Bose HU.

Check https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-interior-audio-electronics-24/help-audio-system-115644/ in post #9 for links to the correct diagram. The sound quality to the Bose amp will be better since it is not heavily EQd.
