Lost Keys

Lost my keys this weekend, haven't found them yet. i have an '04 8 and it is locked outside my house. I have always wanted a switchblade key and this seems like a good time to get one. i have read ALL the threads concerning this topic however every one seems to stray off in the same direction/are not specific enough for my terms.
1.) i do not have ANY spares.
2.) Dealer says that i cannot program an '05 switchblade key to an '04 (i know this is bullshit)
3.) Will i have to purchase 2 keys from them and then program the switchblade myself? (seems to be the expensive route)
4.) Can i bring them an uncut switchblade key to them with the car (towed on a flatbed) and have them cut/program the key without any other keys.
My overall problem is, i want a switchblade key, i have no keys, and i want to make this the cheapest it can be since i am a college student and i do not want to be abused by the dealer.

Ouch. Honestly I'm not sure. Someone has to be able to cut you a new one, and surely that would be the dealer. As you stated the switchblade keys work fine. I would look to another dealer, because yours (like most of them) are idiots. Mine are just flat our rude to me. Must be jealous because I'm 28 and drive a better car than he does, have a better job than he does, and have a hotter girl than he does.
