lotek pod with autometer nexus gauges
Well I haven't installed the pod yet since there is no real reason to do so with a currently stock car . I'm simply preparing my parts for mods to come in the next few months. With my last car I went with defi BF gauges which were beautiful, high quality products, however they're 60mm and do not work with the lotek pod. I opted for the Autometer Nexus gauges as they're suppose to use the same type of mechanism as the BF's with simular accuracy. I can't speak for accuracy just yet but I can say that initial quality falls below that of the Defi's, but overall they're not terribly constructed and still look decent. I found a decent deal for all 3 gauges that I needed with the control unit so I went for it.
The gauges are not installed on the car yet but I couldn't help but hook up some power to the unit to see what they look like. I'm definitely satisfied with how they look. Pics below:
Off
default colors: white/red:
I believe I'm going to be using this red though, looks to match the stock colors pretty well
I also took pics of a few other colors the unit offered like green, blue, and white with lights off.
Comments always welcomed..
