I personally don't KNOW if they work or not.. but my thought is that the radio is probably exactly the same even though the curves are a little different on the dash -- but I know that the 09 I was looking at had automatic climate controls instead of the manual ones that the metra kit was made for... I bet even if the radio fit the AC controls wouln't work anymore..

I know that corksport has a kit for 04-08 with the automatic controls (for japan models) but i can't be sure they would work with the 09 setup...

call metra.. see if they can figure it all out

09 Is different from 04-08. Metra kit will NOT work with 09 model.

+1 which is why they used the Axxess module/flashable firmware so down the road a bit they can make them work with the newer models etc.

It wont work. the dash looks "kinda" the same, but the internals are different.

Dont buy/believe anything the 6th AVE ppl tells ya, they dont know **** about their products.

Yeah man just stop hoping and wait maybe a year or so until they update the kits. Either that or go custom fab.

The faceplate is different (will NOT fit - it's like trying to put a LGA775 CPU in a LGA771 socket they look almost exactly the same but it will not work at all). The tabs are probably in different placement. The wiring is most likely different so the harness would not work.

umm.. why would you want them to "re-wire" the entire car when you can wait a few months and get a plug and play solution..

of course they are going to say ANYTHING to get your business...

how do u figure its a few months?...when it took the 04-08 kit like forever to come out , besdies wy is there a problem rewireing im not the one doing it n im not paying extra if they have to rewire it, so why wait when rewiring doesnt effect anything jsut takes them more time to do the job

I have an 09, and although I share a similar lack of patience with you, I still would prefer the sureness of install and the reversibility of a proven plug and play system. I personally don't have the time to let my car sit as they try and figure out how to rewire the AC controls, get my display working, or my hand held controls. I would'ent have any buisness if i ever told a customer "i cant do this" or "I can give it a shot". More then likely most installers will tell you they are perfectly capable of instaling something, right up untill 5 minutes after they realize they couldent.

More power to you though, let us know how it goes... If it goes trouble free ill happily be second in line, and have MY installer can call yours for questions. Good luck.

so you're going to let a random person hack and cut wires behind your dashboard on a brand new 30k sports car....

do what you want with your car.

In his defense..."Random People" do more serious things in our life then install radios...

How well acquainted are folks with the doctors who prod a finger up there rear when issuing a prostate exam or cup there genitals and ask to cough for a physical?
