Anyone have one? Is it worth it?(I know that's pretty subjective) I've never really cared to switch out shift ***** but I think it might a nice touch. What do they run in price?

Very nice shift ****...good feel and weighted well. I've had many people ask me about it.

 

yeah, the "metal" accents on my factory **** are flaking off and it's really bugging me. i've been thinking about switching as well.

 

There are actually two Mazdaspeed *****. The older all black one and the newer carbon fiber and aluminum one. I have the cf/alum one and love it. It's listed as an MX-5 part on the US Mazdaspeed site, but the packaging and instructions say it's for either MX-5 or RX-8 and it includes stickers with shift patterns for both. Runs about $150.

EDIT: Also, it's real CF and real metal, not carbon look or painted plastic. Very high quality and worth the price IMO.

I put the shift pattern sticker on the cig lighter, that way it's hidden most of the time.

 

I prefer the all black one, it's small and just looks really good.

Autoexe black one is Sexy..
IMHO though its mostly cosmetic.. I know some are counterweighted and such, but the factory one is nice itself. If you had an extra 150 bucks why not.. or you can send it to me.. i take paypal jk jk

the AutoEXE one is only $88. thats about the same as i've found the mazdaspeed one. i'd honestly rather have a new factory one but those things are stupid expensive (between $150-$175). mine is just falling apart and it's really pissing me off.

 

I might be putting a feeler thread for my ms ****. I really want the corksport cf one. Any one want to buy mine?
