Talking MemoryFab Brackets & Ultra Sheild Race Seat

For all the Height impaired drivers w/helmet in car issues, finally a bracket thats proven to lower

I got my Super low position seat mounts from memory fab & Ultra shield race seat installed yesterday. The total install took me around 4 hrs being my first time around and having to drill custom holes in my seat. I'm sure now I could swap out my stock & aftermarket seats in under half an hour.

The Memory fab brackets are front and rear height adjustable and are for side mounted seats. They retain the OEM seatbelt & wiring along with it as well.
My brackets came w/dual locking sliders which I'd highly recommend.

The type of bucket seat you have and where the holes are mounted at on the side(High, midway, or near bottom of seat) will determine how low or high you will be able to get the seat.

As stated with my Ultra shield race seat I had to drill holes in the side which I postioned midway....I'm able to sit up and bring seat as forward as as posibble to steering wheel and still have about 2 inches of headroom compared to none before in that same position w/oem seat and brackets. I'm 6"3 BTW

Going to drill another set of holes up high which will practically have me sitting on the frame under seat, when set to brackets lowest position.

I'm down here @ VIR over the weekend and will get accurate measurements once I get back home.
Drove 3 hrs & 45 mins in the Ultra Shield Road Race Seat and I'll put it like this, any kind of trip that will have me driving straight for over an hour I WILL BE SWAPPING MY STOCK SEAT BACK IN...I hope my lower back will survive the 4 hr trip back

I will get better quality pics but for the time being
:

This is good to hear about the seat brackets. Racing seats aren't necessarily supposed to be comfortable for a long time they are mainly for sprint races. Back in January, I drove from Chicago to Daytona Beach for the 24Hr race. 18hrs each way in the stock seats. I had no back problems at all. I have never had a more comfortable car seat. I just wish that they were designed to work with a shoulder harness.

I'm the opposite and don't really like these seats too much. My Honda del Sol had Recaros for the stock seats. Amazing! I saw Memoryfabs adjustable seat (the Bride Gias knockoff), looks like a deal.

Stock Seat Belt

I see you are using the stock seat belts. Do you have any problems when you slide the seat forward with not being able to reach the stock seatbelt receptacle (part on the right side of the driver's seat)?

I'm thinking about a similar setup with some Recaro Pole Positions. I'm not ready to sacrifice the back seat to a roll bar!

I believe it's attached to the slider unit.

MemoryFab bracket with Momo Start seat

Tried something similar (thanks, Derex'8 for the ideas) with a Momo Start 2007 seat
