Metra Kit Issues
So i installed a Kenwood DPX308U /w a Metra Kit but the steering wheel controls don't work.

I was told i needed to buy a Pac-audio kit to get the steering wheel controls to work?

If so i found 2 kits that (may) support my radio...

Can anyone shed any light on which of these 2 kits would be better for my setup?

Pretty sure the SWI-RC is just a newer product PAC has released that is capable of working with just about any headunit. Previously, you had the SWI-JACK or the SWI-PS. So to answer your question, either will work.

Okay thanks a lot! You really cleared things up. I guess i'll go with the SWI-RC for newer/higher compatibility.

So i got the Metra kit and SWI-RC module installed and everything works perfect, thanks for the help firebirdude!
