Do you have a Bose system, did you connect the remote wire? It may seem irrelevant but the kit can act funny if something is hooked up wrong. For that matter did you plug the factory harnesses back into the climate controls. 4 connectors should be connected the factory connections going to the actual blower motor and temp setting and 2 connectors going in to the metra kit to retain LCD displays. If the metra kit wires are hooked up backwards serious system failure can occur and you may need an new metra interface. Besides that check your factory fuses in the driver kick panel to make sure one didn't blow.

If the fan and climate wheel function, but just don't display then there is something wrong with the metra kit, and you will more than likely need to contact them and probably swap it out.

Yeah they were alright before. they just both stopped working after i installed the kit. everything else FINE. If it heats up in winter anyway but at slow speed i dont really care when i select the ''auto'' function. But if it dont im screwed because here is -30* in winter.

The amount of problems we're seeing with the Metra kit is disgusting.

"temp auto" and you're located in Switzerland... I thought that the Metra kit works only with the USA, non-auto climate controls. Or is there a version that is for the auto A/C that's in use in Europe?

Metra has only recently released it's "F" version of the kit that includes new hardware, allowing the unit's to work with the Auto climate control. You have to have one of these new versions. The original only works in North America.

Re

ThankS for ur replies but i found out some how. I have the 2.0 version that is said to be compatible with auto. When controlling everything again iremembered that i saw somehere that u have to press the auto button for 5-10sec to tell the accesbox that its an auto. After that it worked perfectly

I'm having problems with the temp control on my metra kit. Everything works except for the temp control. I had my kit professionally installed, and even got a new axxess box replaced yesterday, but after all that, temp still is stuck in the cold position. Fan speed, defroster, etc works fine, but I'm kinda at a loss at what could be the issue? Should I take it back to the installer although I had it installed back in May? I was so happy to have AC and a radio again that I guess I forgot to check if the heater worked. IDK what to do if the installer can't fix it. Having no heat in the winter seriously sucks.

BTW, I have done the DIY fix for the climate control on two separate units, and nothing has changed.
