Momo Shifter and Leather Boot on an AT

Yeah... I know I know... I should have gotten a manual...but since I didnt, I still wanted the look of the manual. I think someone else did this on here...but I think it looks cool with the Momo shifter. I had to cut about an inch off the shifter, but unless you notice the missing clutch and the extra horsepower =P I think it looks bad ***! Once again hats off to Trussville for getting this to me in three days... as always!

One button is for my AVelectonics video switcher...the other is for my X-Box and DVD Changer. Im having a MOD chip installed on the x-box today, that will allow it to play as many x box games as I want (stored on the hard drive instead of on the discs) and all my mp3s. Plus the name of the song and all the information will show on the screen when i play it! Im going to be using an RF controller that I will keep in the glove box. If it all works out, I will post pics and what you will need to do the mod yourself.

Later guys!

hey you put in a mod chip but what side HD? I suggest atleast 160 that allows for about 70 games on average plus several emulators and a few thousand NES/SNES/Atari games

put linux on and hookup a wireless connection to the lan and you can do fun things...ask Robertdot...he is knowledgable

How do you work the boot down into the panel? Just ordered the rotary **** for my AT RX-8, wouldn't mind booting it too. :p

you unsnap the cover from the tranny tunnel, unscrew the existing panel and unsnap the connector for the shift plate L.E.D. The shift boot from the 6spd screws right in place. It takes 2 minutes. The shift **** unscrews like a stick shift.

flyboyindy - Did you buy the boot and the MOMO shifter from Trussville? Can you shoot me the part numbers? Aside from the rotary shifter ****, I can't seem to find similar parts. Please let us know. Thanks.

I got my boot from Trussville--you are better off calling them as its not in the parts catalog. It has to be ordered and then sent to you. It was like $58 or so shipped. Right now I am using my stock shifter ****--I may change it out with another type--cuz the Mazda one is pricey.

Why? There still is no clutch--so when they go to press it they'll discover its an auto. There is also the gear selector indicator in the gauges.

too confusing for valet dudes...I don't care if I go to the fanciest shindig in all the land there is no way in hell I'm allowing someone to valet my car anyway (valet's will never figure out how to put the 8 in reverse...they rev it in 6th and g-d knows what else)

Valets canlook at the map andfigure out how to get the car into drive. Youre forgetting how manycars these people drive every day. But w/yours completely covered theresno way theyll know thatthey have to movethe shifter to the right afew times while going down toget it into drive -- insteadof just straight down like most automatics.
