Ok finally got my PIE and MP3 hardwired into my 8 (Thanks to Mazdaparts!).

However as i suspected the output of my MP3 player (Creative labs Zen Xtra) is not on par with the rest of the stereo. I have to crank the volume level to about 2x what I normally listen to.. and while that's not a problem in itself, should I decide to switch over to the radio for a moment I get blasted because the volume is way too high.

So.... I guess I'm looking for a Line level Amp.. one that's rather EASY to install. I've heard people mention one called LD-1... but I've only found ONE place that carries it..

Are there any other similar products? Something rather simply that has RCA IN/OUT only would be prefered as I don't ever expect to upgrade the rest of the stereo.

I've tried contacting several stereo shops around but none of them carry anything like this.. they all carry the big standard Amps that go in the trunk etc..

Any other ideas?
