My 8 with 2 8's
Well my box is done i have 2 8" 608 DD subs in a recommended ported box using a HIFONICS BXI2608D amp to push them, and so far these thing are crazy loud it sounds real good inside but the outside nope. So ill be finding ways to get rid of some if not most of all the rattling........

Well i went with 8" subs because i didnt want to add too much weight on the car, i wanted to be able to take the box out the trunk without playing tetris..lol
So far for these DD subs hits really hard for 8s, my emblem and my driverside tail light broke off....smh
For both subs and custom box built to sub specs costed me $675 not bad.....

I know DD ain't cheap. For anyone reading this that's interested, I'd STRONGLY suggest checking out SoundQubed.com . It's DD's sister brand/side project that's really been gaining some steam lately. My shop is only an hour from DD so I get their products in my shop occasionally, despite not being a DD retailer. The SoundQubed subs are damn nice and VERY reasonably priced.
Oh and if you don't believe that they're the same company, have a looksie at the office addresses of both. Plus, once you handle the two woofers in person, you'll instantly recognize they're very close to the same.

I wouldn't say I know the company greatly, but not to my knowledge. Pretty certain they changed their name from AudioQubed, but even that was only ~18 months ago.
But hey, I've been wrong before.
