mine does that too. I kinda just lived with it. I asked the dealer, but they said they had to keep it overnight and I was like screw it, it doesnt bug me that much for them messing with it.

mine happens with some bumps. But when i have a dirty/scratched cd (old), it skips on every single one. But one normal road bumps and potholes, it would skip on a 50/50 basis.

My skips, mostly on CDR's but sometimes on the originals too, mostly when it's cold, mentioned it to the dealer, same as above, wanted to keep it, I said F**k it. I might mention it next time I take it in. I need the oil pan I've been putting off for a while, and since I had to give it up three weeks after my 1st wreck, I've been reluctant to part with it again.

yeah I"m having the same problem. but i really don't think there's a way to "fix" the CD skips. I'm just going to look at some aftermarket HUs which has bigger buffers that prevents skips...

I have the stupidly overpriced Bose system, and it skips the exact same way.
Around NoVA, we have some crappy roads in the more crowded city areas (Ballston, Falls Church, etc) and my CDs skip routinely.
The buffer simply isn't large enough (or the CD unit isn't shock resistant enough, depending on how you look at it) A stupid oversight in my opinion. There is no way to fix it without getting a different/better CD solution with a better buffer.

I have the 6CD bose system (standard UK spec).
Have been over some major rough roads, its never missed a beat with anything , apart from one CD-r which has a problem same track every time.

Stuck in a love triangle
I guess this problemis for people w/just the standard cd player and not the 6 cd loader. I guess if we want to get rid of the problemwell have to upgrade
