OK, I'm starting to get pissed off at this $2K POS! Not only will Mazda not upgrade me to newer firmware, half the time it won't even recognize a destination. Can someone please help by trying out an address for me? I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I tried to get directions to the following address last weekend, and after 10 minutes of frustration with the nav system, I went back in the house and printed it out on Mapquest.

Boerne, TX 78006


I tried entry all kinds of different ways, and it never could find HWY 46. I have the old nav firmware. If someone can make this work with the new firmware, then maybe I can convince Mazda to upgrade me. BTW, HWY 46 has existed for years, so it should have at least recognized the highway.

Hope nobody's out there trying it - I figured it out. It likes TX-46. Not Hwy 46, not State Hwy 46, not St. Hwy 46. I had to scroll over to the highway on the map and it showed me the designation. Damn, this thing is picky!

STate highways are like WV-17 (West Virginia Route 17) and major ones are apparently US-64
