I don't know if I'm posting old news or not, but I called to check and was suprised to hear it was available. It also says so on their website.

You will need to call with your VIN #. The guy said something about needing an update and asked if I got an update CD from Mazda.
It's $149 + tax + shipping

Personally, I think we should get this for free. My DVD is 2002 data for a 2004 car. I'm in the fastest-growing area in the whole freakin' country.

However, I'm probably going to pick this up.

 

haven't got it yet...well cause im overseas for a little but my friend gets my mail for me and said i got a dvd navi update in the mail...i didn't pay for anything. wonder if its the real thing!! did anyone else get one in the mail without calling anyone or paying for anything???

 

girliegirl You got the firmware update. Not the updated maps. You need to upgrade the firmware to use the updated maps.
