It has been done. Someone on this forum did it, but it was MUCH more expensive that having it from the factory and it was a pain in the ***. Do a search to get more info

Not at all. However, I think I understand what you mean.

To be more clear - Moostafa's pictures show a really nice aftermarket nav installation on the dash near the lower driver's corner of the windshield. Have another look at that 2nd picture.

RX-Nut, if you're investigation aftermarket NAVs you might want to ask Moostafa about his.
