Navigation System Assistance - Erase Address History

All -

Recently purchased am '04 RX8 - quick Navigation system question. How do I erase the address history of the previous owner? I have deleted all 'marked points', but also want to delete the address history. Searched forums, but to no avail (tried the 'secret' menus accessed from the Version Menu, but could not see where to update.). Any thoughts / suggestions / clarification would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks (and no cheating here - first owner would be the one worrying about straying).

Ok here are the steps:
1. Goto system menu.
2. Go into the part that lets you check your version.
3. Inside the version screen hit: up, up, up, down, down, down, up, up.
4. It should take you into a secret menu.
5. Go into Cd check and hit the cold start button.

This should reset all the settings from what I remeber doing awhile back. Let me know what happens or if you have any questions. Cause I hit the cold start button before once just to see what it did and it Erased everything on it. So its back to default.

P.S.

If you wanna check out the other secret menu screens you can find them with the search.
But since I am nice here you go.

Same thing go into the version screen.

Hit: up, up, down, down

or

up, up, up, down, down, down, up, down

Awesome! I know it's eight years later, but selling my RX8 , handing it over tomorrow and needed to clear my nav. Was messing with it for twenty minutes before I came across this thread. Thank you! Worked perfectly.
