NZ Navigation System in Japanese

First of all hello to everyone, I am from New Zealand and I have recently bough a freshly imported RX8 from Japan. The car runs good and has done approx 50,000Km on the clock. It's got Greddy turbo kit installed (requires tuning on New Zealand fuel).

Can someone guide me to set up the navigation system so that the menus and maps show in english. Here are some pictures. Have followed some guides here but mine seems to be different.

damn I just saw a pic of the controls the other day! I'll see if I can find them.
As for the screen, I can't help you out on that. Sorry!

edit: sorry I can't find it.

Hi RX8_
I have/had the same system in my RX8 and I talked with mazda NZ to see whether they had a NZ map that would work with the Nav system from a Jap RX8 and they told me that they do not support the Jap RX8 nav system at all.
With mine, I ended up pulling out the DVD rom player and putting in a DVD player so I can play movies.
Hope this helps a bit.
But if you are really keen to do something with the nav system, then talk with Mad Sounds in Hamilton, they may be able to help you out.
Have fun

About 4yrs and 100,000 kms.
There are more opinions on this than you can shake a stick at . Do some searching and make your decision .

Who ever says that you can't use Synthectic oil in the RX8 has not a clue what they are talking about.
I have used Amsoil Synthectic oil since the mid 80's in all the Rotaries that I've had and the others I have looked after for family members.
Currently I use 15w50 Amsoil race oil in my RX8.
Personally I would not use 5w20 oil in anything and especially not in an RX8. Its too lite a weight oil for the RX8. This oil was designed for fuel economy only, not for high stress demands that a lot of RX8 owners put on these engines.
As yet I have never had a problem with a Rotary engine running Amsoil synthectic oil.
Hope this is useful

Regards
