Navigator IR Remote Control
#26
When in Italy I had a very fancy car radio with a remote control. It was so much more practical to push buttons on a remote you could hold while driving than searching for the same buttons on the front panel of the radio. I think it is also safer.
I am really interested in knowing whether the Panasonic remote will work with our Nav because that remote actually adds number buttons, and possibly others... right now it is a pain to enter any type of info on the Nav due to the on screen keyboard... the remote may ease the number part at least. Also, I can have a passenger set it up for me without having someone's hand in the way while I drive.
I use the navigator every day although not in guidance mode. I will never again buy a car without the Navigator.
;-) thanks to all for the research you are conducting!
