Nice find, but this doesn't appear to be plug and play like you thought it was. Just like the other units that have been out for a couple years now, you still have to splice into four wires from the nav unit, according to what it says on the site:
I do like the fact that it offers its own brightness/color/tint/contrast control, but I'm not sure if that alone makes it worth $80 more than AVElectronic's budget dual version switcher... http://www.avelectronic.com/Navigati...erfaceDual.htm ...which I currently use.
It would be nice if a true plug and play version (no wire cutting) was released one day though.
Universal RGB interface that comes with raw cables. You can view a photo of the wiring harness provided by clicking on the "View Module Wiring Harness" button below. Wires in the vehicle must be spliced into using this harness. The GNET_RGB is a universal unit for all vehicles that use a standard RGB signal with sync as their video interface.
It would be nice if a true plug and play version (no wire cutting) was released one day though.
