Need advice please!!! Sub issues...
I was running a 600 watt crossfire amp to my hcca orion sub. Had a different watt amp for the speakers. Im using battery isolators to seperate the batterys. Have it all fused and what not. My grounds are all fine. I have the subs on a switch. Im still running the stock deck, due to all the issues i hear about aftermarket head units. But i wanted to get more bass so i went to pioneer amps. Im currently running a 2400 watt to the sub. Ever since we install them i am getting a turn on thump. When we disconnect the rca's it goes away but the amps then turn themselfs on. We have done trial and error on alot to try and track it down but am having no luck. Maybe there is something im missing when it comes to the rx8 and its audio??? Any help is appriciated.

Let us know a little more about your setup. Do you have the Bose setup in your car? Where exactly are you getting your input signals from? What are you using for your remote on/off for your amps? Tell us how you have your switch wired up. What exactly is getting switched on and off? Is the pop only when the subs are switched on from your switch?

I had the bose in the car to start with. My input is from the factory wire harness that wentto the factory amp. Remote on/off from toggle switch with its own dedicated fused power circuit. Power on triggers isolators and a second delay switch that powers up both amps. The pop is coming from the rca's. when we remove them it goes away. The pop is only at start up.

Ive got the same thing.
Ive put a high to low rca converter before the stock amp.
Then have my rca to my amp. Again it only happens when starting the engine.
Completely stuck with it its fine if I plug the rca leads in after its started.
I turned the gain and hertz and its abit better but still there.
I just make sure the head units turned off before turning the car off.
Just turn it on after its started.
