I think the posted price is the problem. It appears to me this was a vendor post that didn't pay to be a vendor here. My 2 cents.

Who's a vendor? As I emailed to Ryan, I'll send anyone who wishes a copy of the email from RMagic if they can view and read Japanese. The price is RMagic's MSRP which has been published in issue No. 022 of RX-7 Magazine. I am getting no discount on it at this time and if I was it'd be passed down 100% to whomever is buying. Whatever the s&h charges come to will be whatever the shipping company is charging. All numbers can be verifed by Ryan if he wishes to look them up. I make absolutely no money on this at all. If you count my time, and whatnot I'm going to lose money on this.

I have not the resources, etc. to bother with being a vendor at this time, but there are people interested in these pieces, and I'd like to help them. Simple as that. This is a one time deal with deadlines to sign up, etc. After that... I'm not a vendor, so sorry.

I understand why the thread was hidden and have no complaints about that. This isn't my server or bandwidth, so the rules are as Ryan decides.

I do not think that is the one he is talking about. There was a guy on here that made new faceplate kits to put a DIN radio where the original one is. I am pretty sure that is what colin204 is talking about, but am not sure. Correct me if I am wrong.

I forgot all about that thread. Yes there was a thread that the admin pulled. Unforunately I didn't catch the price nor have a copy of the pic.

Ya it does, but the site pics are certainly lame, like he started then stopped, as nuthin has changed since his first post long ago. If he was serious, he'd have finished at least one such piece, taken a pic in a car, not on the floor with trash around.

If the guy had a clue, a steady hand, and a table with a backdrop....... 1st he'd be a vendor here... THEN he'd be selling these like hotcakes.

Looks more like, he doesn't have one (a clue), he never finished this project, or he ran into trouble with it.

I wish him well, would give him money in a heartbeat IF - but with nuthn to go on......no hope in sight.... it's just another brain-tease - like all the turbos / superchargers / etc. One more thing we almost mighta got! but didn't - yet anyway!

The technical mountain of making the climate controls and led work without keeping the stock head unit in some hidden location, is a tough one. Likely will require some level of electrical engineering to punch up a circut board so you can at least relocate the one behind the faceplate, if not replace it entirely.
