Need Help!! Prosport Gauges/ Rb Adapters
#51
Nope, I used it in the exact same place you mentioned as I saw to be convenient. No hose cutting required, the adapter is just too small for a snug fit. I wound up walking to town today to get a sleeve to place over the adapter in hopes for a snug fit to tighten up properly.
Cutting the hose was due to a slit that developed in the end likely from messing with it for 4+ hours, so now the hose is stretched some to get it connected. What should of been that long for the entire upgrade wound up being just for the water adapter, uncompleted.

I'm sorry Vlaze, i used a D1 spec adapter if it helps. Cheap, yes but is still there with no water leaks after a year and like 6\7 track days.
See the positive side though... Time to order some samco hoses from bhr to replace the stretched hose!

Push and hold the 'PEAK' button, then turn the key to the 'ON' position, then you can release.
This will obviously turn the beep off for the peak warning during operation too.
And if you're like me and have three gauges, it'll make it difficult to do them all.
When I did it, it "reset" itself the next time I shut the car off so it beeped again when I turned it back on.
But I only did this once to try it out... maybe I cleared the memory messing with it (push and hold the 'PEAK' button until the pointer flashes to clear the memory) and that is why the beep returned.
I'll try it again later...
The benefit I use with this is the oil pressure gauge.
If I don't want to start the car and just have the radio on, the oil pressure gauge starts beeping (for obvious reasons).
So I turn the beep off for that instance so I can listen to the radio without the car started and without it beeping at me.
