New Black Microfiber Interior
Just did my passenger side panels with new stronger black microfiber. It was an old dirty red fake suade. I am going to do everything blacked out inside. Let me know what you think. The black is new the red is old....

Yea I liked the red as well but that sueade was much too weak, dirty, and impossible to clean. I am blacking out the whole inside, and the car is beinng two toned painted in about a week and half. It looks really good in person.
I got the fabric at this place around me called Handcock Fabrics, Its not sueade at all and it is much stronger than what was on there, It matchs the interior perfect. By the way its my first time doing this and It looks completely factory....so anyone can do it.

Well, other than needing to focus the camera, it looks good. I personally like the black look much more than the red, but it's all personal preference in that department.
What did you use to adhere the new fabric? I'm guessing some sort of spray glue? Looks like a pretty solid job - the fabric looks nice and smooth.

I know that camera is horrid....anyway I just used some Permatex Spray Adhesive. It is very sticky once it sets but it allows some time at first so you can work with the material. You have to work a bit fast but you should be able to do it.
I love the black much more myself rather than the red.
I am doing the drivers side sometime later in the week so I will take some pics of the process....

Did you pull the door panel off and wrap around that section or did you just cut the piece to fit and jam it into the cracks? I would think it's the former, but haven't pulled the panel off yet.

I took all the panels off striped the sueade and cleaned the surface, then I cut the microfiber slighty bigger than what was on there. I used the sueade at a template.
I wanted to do this the right way and it turned out great It looks completely like a factory option.
I will be doing the driver side tomorrow and I will take pics and post them of the process.
