I was thinking about getting the under dash "night lights" but my dealer is going to charge me about 130 for install. anyone know if this is too high of a price or if it is hard to do them yourself?

 

its easy to do them yourself if you have basic knowledge of elecrical circuits.

You can even make your own for about $15, in any colour you want.

 

I did mine myself in blue, they come on when the door is opened just like the other lights.

 

Throw out some info on how to do this. Im rather curious and it looks good.

I bought computer case lights for mine and for 20 bucks I got 4 12" bulbs, but u have to do some rigging but it looks really clean. Check out Xoxide.com, thats where I got mine

 

I did mine myself. I wired two tubes of red neon into my headlights so they come on when my lights are on. The neons came with the cigarette adapter but I rewired it and spliced into the headlamps, then zip-tied the lights up under the dash. I think they look great. There are a couple really good threads in this section that have the DIY.

will i screw things up if i buy four different colours, btw, can you show me the excatly name of the blub you bought on the site, i really interest in it.
do you install yourself?? i think it is too much for me if install a couple LED costs me 130 bulk. Can you show me the steps If you do install by yourself...thz a lot
