OEM ipod adapter + aftermarket bluetooth receiver
http://www.iskin.com/ceruleanrx/
Anyone have any experience with this in their 8?
This looks interesting... For those with the Iphone 3G or 3G S, you can wirelessly stream audio without docking, for this without bluetooth enabled ipods, they have a transmitter too.
I've got the OEM ipod adapter which works fine if you have a small number of playlists, but sucks when you want to find a specific song, artist, or album.
I plan on picking one up, but wanted to see if anyone on here has tried it already.

No expereince with this one. I have the Jabra SP700 bluetooth speaker phone. You can transmit bluetooth the Jabra, then go FM from teh jabra to the radio. I use it with my iphone everyday. The sounds is good, not excellent, but still good.

Bumping this thread to see if the OP, or anyone else, has purchased the unit and likes it.
A complication is that I have an external Bluetooth speakerphone as well...if anyone knows if you can fast switch between different Bluetooth connections on an iPhone 4 (mine is on its way), that would be great, too.

So I actually just bought this through the iSkin website. It got shipped to me yesterday, and I was excited to use it to start streaming music from my iPhone 3GS to my car.
I connected the Cerulean RX to my OEM iPod cable from the glove box, but my car's display kept flashing "NO DISC" as if there was no iPod/iPhone connected...bummer. My guess is that the OEM iPod cable can only output sound to the car speakers if an actual iPod or iPhone is connected to it.
Anyone know if there's an adapter that can be used to enable the use of the Cerulean RX?
