I had to re-write your post before I was able to decipher it. Being able to articulate your thoughts in a manner that is comprehensible to others is important if you want people to take you seriously.

I'd just replace it with OEM stuff. An aftermarket stereo is just going to encourage other thieves to break into your car and steal stuff. Most insurance companies will happily send you to a shop that will put all your OEM gear back in order. Progressive was awesome at getting my dash repaired after someone stole the aftermarket radio in my old Honda. Only took the shop 3 days to finish the job.

Why would you take a payout when the insurance company has to fix the car to your satisfaction if you go to their shop?

Of course I was just giving him a hard time. I had no real input on this one and I was able to decipher it.
I was going to do the same as you Socket7, but I just got lazy!

isn't your insurance going to replace it with OEM?

Ah. Non-native english speaker. My apologies for being a rude American *******, I thought you were a 16 year old American who's to lazy to learn how to spell. Clearly this is not the case.

Were you to go the aftermarket route, you'd need to install a kit to get a dual din mounting point in your dash. The metra kit is the best one out there right now I believe. Then you're going to need a converter box to make it talk to the Bose amp in the trunk properly. That's the cheapest way of doing it. Otherwise you would need to get an aftermarket amp as well, and then replace your door speakers with non Bose speakers. More expensive, but it would sound better then keeping your stock speakers and amp.
