Online audio experiences?
This thread is to set up a list of reputable online audio houses that people have used, and are very comfortable with. Also to weed out the bad apples that people have been burned by in the past.

Abes of Maine (www.abesofmaine.com) was the place where I got my 5-channel Alpine MRV-F450 amp and they delivered very quickly, plus their price was the best I could find by far. List price is $500, and I got the amp for $300 shipped.

I'm an old hand in this area.
www.mmxpress.com is a great source for discount online audio. I purchased a Mmats D300HC subwoofer amplifier. Prompt delivery, great cust service.
www.carmedia1.com is an...interesting place to deal with. I wouldnt call their customer service good but they did replace one of the Crystal CMP12's that was busted up in shipment - however, they double processed my order for a set of A/D/S 3-series components. Their prices are pretty much unbeatable for most products, if you want to throw the dice with them. Overall I'd rate them reliable and worth the hassle if you want to save money on audio gear.
Ebay can be a good source for deals if you are VERY CAREFUL. I read a lot of seller feedback before I ever bid on something.
Try to befriend local car audio retailers - try giving them the "internet price" challenge - it's not often, but they will sometimes drop their (inflated) prices. Especially if you are buying a couple things and more so if you are getting stuff installed at their shop.

Try www.wooferetc.com . They are in LA area. They Ups ground in only 2-3 days if your in Ca.They will also price match! I bought all my dynamat extreme bulks from them for $125 each after price match. Never had a problem with them. They sock a lot of high end stuff with low prices.
