Parking lights and rear LEDs as DRL, where to tap the ACC line?

I did a search and I didn't find anything, hopefully I didn't miss some obvious thread. I am thinking of swapping the parking light bulbs to some brighter LED's and wiring them as DRL's. Also the rear strake LEDs would be very well suited as DRL's as well. I guess tapping an ACC line to power them would be the way to go, does anyone have an idea where's the best point to tap into both front and rear?

I didn't bother to mess around with wiring but I did the led change to super bright parkers as DRL and also tails. I never drive this car at night so just flick the parkers on straight after starup every single drive.

I found the best results came from the forward facing set of led rather than the dome style. Never replaced any or got any codes. Great mod.

I wanted to not have the rear driving light on during the day, only the LEDs but now I got some ebay S2 style tails that look better with both the main and secondary reds on (and they don't have as nice side leds as the OEM lights) so I'm thinking of doing the same as you.

However I do drive at night and I'll have to switch the dimmer off during the day and off at night, so it's a two step process. Might still be better than messing with wires though, and allows me to go full stealth if I want as well.
