or did he put a rear speaker there? It doesnt work because i think he was using it as a mini sub and he took out what looked like a small amplifier. I went to some random audio place and he said it was stock but i never saw a speaker there in any other rx8.

(note) never came with a speaker cover and no i didnt put that silly blue string around the lid

P.S. if anyone is willing to trade for a plain black back piece id give them few bucks on top (located in NY)

I hope they had a much nicer speaker in there.. that looks like crap. Measure it, and get a nice looking speaker (and amp) with a good cover to replace it with.
