For about $140 (shipped) on eBay I can get a pair of Phoenix Gold / Radial SD speakers: Component 6.5" RSd65cs & 6x9 RSd690. I've had great luck with Phoenix home speakers in the past and was wondering if these are good or if there are other better options for the SAME money.

I've been searching here/Google/elsewhere for Radial SD and Ryval reviews to no avail.

I'm always leery of products that I can't find reviews for.

 

Me too but it didn't stop me from getting JVC speakers for my del Sol. They were fabulous! It's not like PG isn't a known entity though either.

 

very true.. i'm seeing reviews of their home stuff everywhere.
I'd say give them a shot, it's only speakers

 

Phoenix Gold used to be badass back in the day, then changed ownership and it's not the same products anymore, while I haven't hears anything bad about the newer stuff, I've not heard anyone raving about how awesome it is either.
If it were me, I'd just take the time to go to a local shop and get some advice instead of chancing it on Ebay. (just my opinion)
