Pic request for Metra wiring harness
Hey guys, I'd like to see if someone has a hi-res pic of the Metra wiring harness. Specifically, I'd like to get one of the back of the big orange connector, so I can see where all the wires and pins go into it.
I tried to buy just this part, but Metra told me flat out that they do not sell the individual pieces - not even a connector! So the other option would be to buy another kit to get it, but that's a big hassle. If anyone could take a pic of theirs, or has a link to one, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Yeah, that should work. But I also want to make sure I'm putting them in the correct position in the connector. I think you described to me once before where the illumination wires should go, but I seem to have lost the PM. Also I just wanted the pic to be 100% sure.

Stay in touch with ccrooks as I think he just installed his and has been troubleshooting engine noise. Probably will have his headunit in and out a few times and could look/snap a pic for you.
You could also track a kit down locally, then ask to look at it before you buy. Check out the harness, then say thank you and walk out. lol

That is absolutely perfect! Assuming one of these is the RX-8 connector, those pics let me see exactly where everything goes. The second pic looks like it might be it, as I see the orange and orange/white wires right there at the top, side by side where they should be.
Did you take these, or find them somewhere else?
Firebird - thanks also for your suggestions!
