It has to be somewhere, and I dont feel like tapping the wrong wires ...
You need a constant 12V, a switched-on 12V and a ground. The switched-on can be found almost everywhere. The lighter is the most common and easy. The other two can be tapped into either at the battery (best case), or the fuse-box, at the two 30A fuses.

You will only draw 10-15 amps, so the second option shouldn't be a problem, unless you are simultaneously trying to open the sunroof, move the driver's seat, and open/close one of the windows...

EDIT: The situation might change if you also use a DVDRW (+3 amps) and some sort of amplifier + subs....

Hey, that looks awesome! I have a couple questions about it though.

How is the picture quality? Is there a lot of glare or bad contrast? Or when watching a DVD is it easy to view?

I want to get a screen like that and hook up a new slim style playstation 2 and store the PS2 in the glove box. Would you be able to do this? Also, can you get the sound to come out of the stock speakers in the car?

I'm going to do this in my GTO, but I figured the concept is the same right?

If you're concerned about glare, then you should consider picking up a screen with transflective coating from mp3car.com. It's costly though... about $650 vs $250. However, all the pics of it that I've seen look very good.

I'm not too concerned about it, but it will be high up just like his is on his RX-8 dash. I have a double din Eclipse AVN5500 where the stock stereo controls were and I want to add a screen like his up top and hook a PS2 up to it.

its not too bad with glare but if you are really worried go for the more expensive one.

this screen would be really easy for the video for a ps2 to show. just plug in the yellow input and thats it. there is an input for vga and for another input.

for sound i had the audiolink but i had a small buzzing noise from interference. so for now i have just an fm transmitter.

they only hard part would be running power for the ps2 and the screen. i would find a local stereo shop to see if they could help with the power set up and running the wires
