Pillar Removal

Ok, im trying to remove the two pillars in the front(the ones that have the srs airbag logo on them) Im trying to remove them so i can place my tv antennas up there and to un the gps antenna wire down to the reciever, anyhelp would be deeply appreciated thnx.

make sure you de-activate your battery when doing anything containing airbags.

A pillar....

No airbag in there, just three clips.

Pull the rubber door trim away, grasp the top of the trim, pull 'in' towards the center of the car. This will (should) free the top clip, then pull the whole piece 'up'. This should free the other two clips, and the hook at the bottom.

The top clip is a push-in fit, the bottom two are slid in from above.

...as always, the manual says "....replacement is the reverse of removal" :D
