Post your favorite Bass Song

screw all rap songs.
go with Unearth (if your subs can hang with it)
Mudvayne - Dig
Drykill Logic - just about any song
Throwdown - Forever, Burn, and You Can't Kill Integrity
Otep - Warhead
As I Lay Dying.
If you got a good enough sub(s) that can maintain tight bass, then these songs are great.

Anything from DJ Magic Mike. Though "Drop the Bass" comes to mind specifically. Circa 1990-ish. Back in the day my Beretta GT's 6x9's were strugglin'!! :D
The bass hits so hard and low that your nuts will ache for a week. No joke. You only have to experience it once.

Yep, Magic Mike was something unique. He had that one beat that he used in half of his songs. He also had the infamous "Feel the Bass" track that had vocals recorded really low and bass recorded really loud.
Anyway, my favorite is the track "D.J. Laz & Exotic E Wrech 'N' Shop" from D.J. Laz's Journey Into Bass CD from '93. There is one 20 second section towards the end of the track that makes even crapping sub systems sound good. Laz says "Now y'all now where the bass is coming from"; its an understatement.

Its been a LONG time since I listened to bass music. My classics are
Beat Dominator: 123456 Bass, Bass - Let it move U, Destination Bass, Bass Computer
Radioactive Goldfish: LSD is the Bomb, Mitosis (same label and era as DJ Magic Mike). I just dug this CD out of my old stuff! I remember it being uber-cool, since the CD (the backside) was gold-colored!

Eletronic music:
- Ben Sims - Voodoo (The bass drum & kick wreak havoc on speakers, I guarantee none of you have heard one like this before)
- DK8 - Murder was the Bass
- Ignition Technician- Work it (aka work this ***** ***)
- Rotterdam Terror Corps - Hardcore Generation
- Daft Punk - Around the World ( gotta love the funky bassline)
Metal:
- Tad Morose - Anubis
- Strapping Young Lad - ( they have ALOT of bassy stuff, I would say... We Ride, Zen, Imperial are good examples)
- Hatebreed - I will be Heard
- Testment - Burnt Offerings
- Stratovarius - Reign of Terror
btw is there a way for us to post tunes up here?
I would love to be able to post that vodoo tune.
