Problem with Footwell LEDs

hey guys i'm sorry. call me stupid. well i just fixed it. my mistake was i spliced the wires in the wrong sgroup of wires. i didnt splice them in THE ABOVE OF THE DEAD PEDAL that rotary rasp's instruction was saying. again so sorry and thanks for trying to help guys.

Before you even hook them up to anywhere................take a simple 9v battery and test them. Just hold the red wire to the positive side of the 9v battery and the red/black to the negative, and they will light up. 9v is enough to turn them on even though they will be dim. If you do this correctly and they light up, then when you installed them you either.........got the wrong wires spliced, or they simply aren't making contact in the wire splices.

ok so i dont have RR's footwell lights but i have the same problem as GR8 but, mine wont go off. Where exactly are you supposed to wire them... where exactly are the wires above the dead pedal, because im obviously not splicing the right ones, anyone have any pics? ill post some of mine tommorow if i dont get it to work by then...
