Product Review: Magic Shade - Windshield Sun Shade
The Magic Shade (standard size) available at Target for $8.99 is a great fit, compact, and is a great value. Some members have doubted that such a cheap universal shade could be any good (I had my doubts too). I have now been using this for 3 weeks and I can honestly say that it's very good and I would have no problems recommending it to other members of the club.
Here are the pictures and a video of how simple it is to install and remove.
Here is my video demo. Sorry I did the filming at night but I ran outta time. I promised another member that I'd show him the set up so here it is.

people think we need expensive sunshades to keep our cars cool? Wow...marketing works in some places I guess. I've been using one of the map-fold ones that are less than $10 for about 3 years now and it works beautifully. I crack the sunroof, close the inner slide and put the screen up before exiting. I come back to a nice (relatively) cool car.
do they still sell the cardboard ones that have a pair of sunglasses printed on the exterior side? Those were great in the 90's!
