Good question. The directions are all in Japanese! I do know that you have to cut a large hole out in the center piece (kind of like with the lotek). The bottom side of the pod is fully molded though (not just a shell) so there is a nice lip for double sided tape which is included. There are also 4 holes on the underside and 4 screws. I'll take more pics and try to get a better idea of how it's mounted when I get home tonight. Stay tuned!

Here are some pics of the new pod. It's made by the company RSW in Japan. You can see there website here: http://www.rsw.ne.jp/. I'll post some more info on it soon.

Love the shape of the pod. The color seems to be a good match for the interior.

Question for ya. What happens if you disconnect the touch pad? Does the gauge retain it's color settings and whatnot?

Edit: Asking because I have Amazon gift cards and Prosport carries these gauges there, but I dont plan on using the touch pad except to set the color to amber and remove if possible

Not sure as I don't have them fully wired up yet. I had them connected to power last night and got the longer wires spliced in for the touch pads. The gauges were blinking whether I had the touchpads attached or not because the sensors were not connected. Maybe Prosport can chime in on this.

I have a feeling it will work properly since it probably just shorts out the pins when you press a button, so by not having the connector in place it would just be as if you never pressed any buttons. I ordered my gauges anyway, figure worst comes to worst I can just cram them in the dash after I set them up.

That's what Prosport recomends if you don't want to use the pads, hide them behind the gauges. You have an 09 correct? What pod are you using?

No, the sites kind of messed up as well as being all in Japanese. email Kenichi Tanaka at info @ rsw.ne.jp. They accept paypal. He said he'd be willing to discount the price a bit if 5 or more people want to buy. Pods are built to order, and they can only make about 5 per month.

I'm curious if the evo gauges are compatible with the wiring harness for the Premium Peak/warning gauges as well as the senders. Having a digital/analog gauge package would be pretty nice. Rewiring wouldn't be impossible but I'm getting more and more lazy these days!
