does anybody knows if the recaro seats from the R3 fit directly in the s1 rx8?airbags etc?

same here, i want to swap out the stock with r3 seats, but i really like the rotary design stock seats. :\

 

tell us some details about the sensors of the airbags?are they the same?you had direct fit?the rails?do you have photo ofthe instal?

 

bump, would like to know aswell...also i'm assuming its safe to say that the "light weight" recaros dont have an automatic drivers side like the series 1 seat does?

For the cushion (seat bottom) the list price is $1944.22, for the seat back it is $4197.46 a bit pricy I think.

that's $6,141.68 per seat according to mazda..maybe if you got a premium price for the stock seats it might be worth it. or just use that 12k towards the r3
