Exclamation Rocky results......

Please don't fall for 'Rocky Mountain Radar's' line of BS "Jammers" - they don't work.

There has never been a valid test of them, they can work in the store, up to a range of about twenty feet! Beyond that they are useless.

I wish the x50 had the remote face like valentine does. The stealth options are to expensive.

If you can spend the $ the Valintine is he best. I have the Passport X50 and I am incredibly happy with it. I found that if you are spending less than about $300 retail on this device it is not worth getting

This one is easy. I have made a living for 20 years with these types of technologies. The V1 is far superior in any way that counts. I did not see anyone mention some of it's advanced features and ability to be owner re-programmed. Valentine doesn't openly tell their customers how to do this but with a little help you can program this thing to work exactly like you want it. Also they advertize they will not let your unit become obsolete. I got a new one for my wife and for kicks I mounted them both together. I sent mine back for an upgrade. For a hundred bucks or so I got a brand new unit (with 2X POP)when mine was at least five years old. You want to be able to do this five years from know. Buy a V1 with a remote head, mount the unit on passenger visor, conceal the wiring (uses reproducable phone cords), put the remote head on it's cigarette ligher head and put it in front of the shifter. You can silence and black out the V1 face and tilt the remote face to you. I got power from the cig lighter in the next console af or under the dash. Pretty stealthy. Then program it to work nearly any way you can imagine. Only thing you might want to go is to default it's custom programing before sending it to them if you need service. I've got more than thousand in my two V1's and they are worth every dime. I have never gotten stopped for speeding with a V1 and I drive (except residential) how I please.
