Real quick Q regarding alpine amp...
I am going to get one custom box for the passenger side trunk made by 4080 and im going to put a 10" alpine type r sub in. I also want to get an alpine amp, but I get so confused with all the channels, watts, ohms, etc. Can someone recommend an alpine amp to me that would more than satisfy my one 10" alpine type r sub? Thanks.

The MRD (M301 or M501) series would work the best. Either model will deliver enough to the sub, the 501 will obviously give more power though. Make sure your sub is the dual 4 ohm voicecoil version so you can run it at 2 ohms, and also make sure you have GOOD inputs for the amps, I know the previous models were rather picky when it came to inputs.

No problem, you'll be very happy with that setup. I had 2 Type-R 10s in my previous car, each running on an MRD-M500 (previous model). It sounded AWESOME, and the digital amps are really nice for tuning on the fly, and with the optional remote you can control everything from the drivers seat.

I was thinking since im only going to put in one 10", that I would go with the M301... Its over $100 dollars cheaper. Do you think this would definitely be enough?... its 350W at 2 ohms and 175W at 4 ohms I believe. Thanks.
